And what president utters nary a peep about the new Maoists?

OH.... he's the PRESIDENT. He's too busy PRESIDENTING to concern himself with funny 'liberal' street antics. Hey, hey's fighting off Russia and China at once here! Keeping us safe from communism.

Keeping us safe from communism.

After the Russian Revolution when the Bolsheviks took over, their collectivism ruined the granaries in Ukraine. The Ukrainians said they even raked out the root cellars.

Many Ukrainians fled to the U.S. and some settled in Uke Village in Chicago.

I am not sure any good would come of any of such an activity today since most people live in urban or suburban areas.

If the grocery trucks stop there will only be about a weeks supply of food before they fan out looking to plunder whatever isn't nailed down. ;)

When he did, he was excoriated for doing so. Then there's the whole Constitushumal thingy-ma-jiggy.

Hopefully the handcuffs come off soon.

(Edit) And what president utters nary a peep about the new Maoists?

C'mon NN, you know better.

Hopefully the handcuffs come off soon.

When we worked concert security, especially at the tough places, we all carried handcuffs and we used them. That was not only to protect ourselves but the one we were handcuffing.

One time at the Pavilion (rec hall for Circle Campus in Chicago) I had this black kid for a partner. I was telling him, "These two guys behind us, one of them might jump." Tickets on main floor were higher than in the seats.

I no sooner got the words out of my mouth than one guy jumped. I tackled him. One of he guys behind the barricade came out and grabbed him the hair on his head and picked him up. He threw him against the barricade and I cuffed him.

We were walking him behind the stage to throw him out and the other guy was complaining about my partner. I said, "Don't worry about my partner. He was doing what I told him to do."

Then the kid said, "Dude, my pants are down."

I looked and started to laugh since he had a little pecker.

Of course I pulled up his pants for him. ROTFLOL

Tucker: Trump is an indictment of America's ruling class

Terrifically outspoken -- if only Tromp and ameriKa were as good as he asserts here. They're nothing of the kind. Thanks in any case for this ringing indictment of the communistablishment and BOOMERS.

I have no idea what you're referring to. Nero fiddled while Rome burned Trump has tweeted when he should have continuously roared.

"Hint: Paragraphs beginning with ">>" (2 greater-than symbols) will be auto-indented!" Has that always been there over the 'Your Comments/Response' box?

I might be one of those boomers you hate, granted, toward the ending years.

My Dad died about five blocks from where I live fighting the "Cold War" in 1976 at a defense company. He fought in WWII in the Philippines. Dad didn't talk much, unless it was about tools.

So, what is it you expect from Trump or me? I've given the best I can.

I'm from right in the middle of the baby boom. Doesn't mean I have to like or respect boomers, and as a rule I don't. You don't have to take it personally -- hey, look how hard I am on the Greatest™ Generation®!

I expect Trump to do what he promised. In the alternative, I expect Americans to be brutally honest withemselves about him and everything else -- but it clearly ain't gonna happen in this universe.

On the Post Comment page, that stuff appears in tiny print above the lower, larger box where your you put new material (as opposed to the smaller upper box where you put quoted material). I'm merely wondering if it's always been there and I've missed it this whole time or is it new.

I think Trump's done pretty good as far as his promises, probably better than any other pol in our lifetime.

I think the best thing's he's done is get folks behind him and feel good.

Not many Trump supporters burning down cities that I know of. I know about the goob and the goos, sit back and let the adults get control before we change the world. OK?

I dunno, I'm the Lord Commander Luddite around this joint. If you're as old as you say, why the crap should you care?

Until last year, I was posting on a Sinclair ZX-80. Damned near killed me.

RGB is also an semi-acronym for Red, Green, Blue, the 3 colors from which a television monitor can produce any color of the visual spectrum. I almost made that same mistake myself a couple times.

Well gee, he's less of a sleaze than other prostiticians -- he's got ppl feeling good -- and his supporters aren't burning down cities. All that can be said of Soupy Sales, Kim Kardashian, Petula Clark, Tucker Carlson, Michael Phelps -- lotsa ppl.

I've given the best I can.

Thanks for your service to the nation.

I had some guy call me on the phone a few years or so back.

He told me I was in the National Guard. I said, "Nope."

Then he said, "Well then, you worked for the National Guard."

I said, "Not at all. Where are you getting your information?"

When they get your name they think they know everything about you. :-/
