A legal problem with s imply nullifying ballots en-masse because a portion of thoes ballots are considered invalid is that it deprives the voters of the valid ballots their constitutionally protected right to vote, so I don't know that a judge would go along with such a ruling so easily. He could rule that ballots from certain precincts are invalid, or may be a w hole state total invalid and order new elections be held in those jurisdictions.

Now you are thinking "what's fair." That is very Christian of you.

"Fair" is not how Democrats wrest control of hitherto Republican districts. It's not the way they backload contests that are not going their way.,

To them "fair" is an antique concept. Strictly for show.

No, I'm just trying to second guess how courts will view the matter and consequently rule.

Neil, what it all boils down to is the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. If this procedure does not nullify ALL of the ballots in question then there is no Constitution. And what would happen then?

Joe diGenova has a point. ;)

It'd be interesting if Trump's Data Demons apply Benford's Law to some of these contested state's polling numbers for a little forensic anaylsis.

WTF am I saying? I'm sure that no longer works in the New USSA. I'll bet the IRS will still use it though.

Apparently, Muscular, The Hammer and Scorecard are working as intended. There's no secrets anymore.

(Edit) Drain the swamp? Shit, might as well drain the Pacific Ocean and walk over to China and piss on ol' Mao's grave.

And a judge may rule that a whole tranche of ballots, wherein some voters voted in good conscience, is spoiled and must be discarded.

What's the remedy?

Clap the damned election officials responsible in irons.

I had to look that law up the other day. Never heard of it before but seems valid.

There aren't very many.

*Redo the entire election for that offending jurisdiction.

*Throw all potentially fraudulent ballots away.

*Disqualify the entire states EC count

*Make an opinion to award the state's EC votes to Trump.

Redoing the vote is about the best there is. It would also serve as financial punishment for the state that has to do the redo. For what little that would mean to state employees.

I've been pretty busy, of late, dealing with my ObamaCare troubles. Goob's (healthcare.gov) got me by the short & curlies right now.

Kind of looks like we'll have to revert to one-time pads & DIY number stations if we're wanting secure commo.

If Putin hasn't died laughing by now, he never will. I hope Vlad and Eddie are getting along OK.

It's a huge stretch. Some analysts are saying 50/50 chance.

I'm no Ivy League genius, I call less than 10% probability of reeling this crisis in.

You are right of course.

There are any number of ways a court might "fix" a rotten batch of ballots depending on the size, manner and/or location of the fraud.

Some throwbacks like me however won't be happy unless there is some bloodletting at the end of all this.

Break their bones. Lock 'em up. Throw away the key.
