Yes and he was impeached by a vote of 99-1 in the Illinois Senate.

After he was out of office he was tried and convicted for corruption in office and was locked up in the Federal pen in Colorado.

Trump commuted his sentence. Blago said, "Trump just turned me into a Republican." ;)

Blago was being interviewed. He said he intends to expose the corruption of long time Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan.

He was Speaker when I lived there back in the 80s.

I would say he will have his hands full if he intends to pursue that. ;)
