Still trying to decide on Chef Boyardee pizza kit or pork chops/Mac-n-cheese/stuffing/asparagus for supper.
Next door neighbors have been putting new siding on their house for like three weeks now, they are using cement board. I didn't know that was a thing. They tend to lock yappy dog in garage, cement board ought to cut down on yapping that makes its way through my windows, so I'm happy about that. :)

LOL, 1985, New Years Eve. Started out with a 6 pack and a bag of weed. At some point someone showed up with a half gallon on of JW Dant 100proof corn likker. I went to pee and the next thing I knew I was in Someone Else's house, alone. Went staggering down the street to find them (they only lived two houses apart), and gave up after like 15 minutes. I wound up at the elementary school, staggering, slinging snot. There were a couple 13 year old girls hanging out there, too. I offered them a snort of Dant, they turned it down. Good for them! :)

Plus an old friend who never married; we almost always invite him for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. He contributed a box of chocolate and box of 00 buckshot.
We had a proper feast with all the traditional Thanksgiving fare. Most of my daughters can cook pretty well, but one can barely boil water. I made the gravy with garden-grown sage.
When my youngest daughter (recently married) arrived, I asked her if she had anything new to be thankful for? Knowing exactly what I meant, she answered "Yes, I'm thankful I'm not pregnant."

Yesterday, my big black Lab/Rottie mix friend was helped across that Rainbow's Bridge when a large, cancerous mass was discovered on/in his spine, which had caused him to go wobbly for the past several days.
I'm having a tough time accepting/adjusting to his absence, he was only six years old and was supposed to outlive me.
