Voting Machine company Smartmatic has delivered legal notices to three conservative news networks, demanding retractions of claims that the company was involved in rigging the election in favour of Joe Biden.
According to reports, Smartmatic has issued legal notices to Fox News, OAN and Newsmax, accusing the networks of a “campaign [that] was designed to defame Smartmatic and undermine a legitimately conducted elections.”
The company is said to have accused Fox News of having “embarked on a disinformation campaign against Smartmatic,” by allowing Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell to make claims of vote fraud.
“Over the course of the campaign, Fox News published and republished dozens of false and misleading statements regarding Smartmatic,” the notice is said to read.
The legal notice also reportedly claims there is “no evidence or credible source to support” the vote rigging claims, and that anyone “would have easily discovered the falsity of the statements and implications being made about Smartmatic by performing even a modicum of investigation.”
The legal notice is also said to have specifically named Fox News hosts Lou Dobbs, Jesse Watters, and Maria Bartiromo, and indicates that Smartmatic could pursue legal action against them personally:

I was afraid of that. Also, in the Martha Stewart case, the judge replaced the two jurors that weren't going to vote guilty. Therefore, if somehow one or two undesirables get on the jury they will be replaced.
I don't see much hope for young people. At least we old folks live most of our lives when there was at least a little justice.

When I lived in Chicago and the beat cop would pull up on a group of guys that were hanging out, he would call the oldest one of the bunch to come over to the squad car.
He would get him behind the door of the squad and give him a few jabs in the gut to make sure he understood clearly that there was to be no trouble on his beat.
Those were the good old days of community policing. LOL

There is not a doubt in my mind you are right.
When I lived in Chicago as a kid I was a Junior Patrolman. The guy who was Officer Friendly was in charge. He was a mean SOB too.
We were down at the lakefront at Waveland Park to play baseball. He had made a reservation for one of the ball diamonds. Some other kids were playing ball there and he told them they had to leave because we had reserved its use.
One of the kids didn't like the idea and he started to shoot off his mouth. Officer Friendly pushed the kid and told him to get lost. LOL
I have reached way back into the recesses of my memory to bring you this short story from my past. I am very lucky to recall it because of the meningitis. ;)
