TX is not where the residential values will crash, commercial is another story altogether.

The State rebuilt the bridge over RR tracks here. They had put in a bypass road that went around it all.

For some reason the city wants to turn the area where that road goes into an industrial park.

I wonder if they have decided on this based on the fact the town I live in has been losing industry over the last decade or so?

One good thing is there is an outfit that makes deer blinds here, and they employ quite a few people in that process. We put together parts packets for them too. ;)

This will be my 3rd housing burst!

When I lived in Chicago, the old man tried to declare bankruptcy. He had some Bozo lawyer that screwed it up and he had to vacate.

I still remember the IRS agent coming to the front door. He was wearing a wool suit and cufflinks. I told him my Dad had to vacate. It seemed that was news to him.

It must be nice work if you can get it. ;)
