Tucker Carlson Reveals What He Thinks Is the Real Reason for the Massive Military Presence in DC

Since the Jan. 6 riots on the U.S. Capitol building, troops have descended on Washington, D.C., in mass numbers, for President-elect Joe Bidens Jan. 20 inauguration.
While lawmakers and the establishment media say the troops are meant to protect the capital city from violence, Fox News host Tucker Carlson is not so sure.
So no matter what they are telling you, those 26,000 federal troops are not there for your safety, Carlson said on Monday nights segment of Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Instead, unmistakably, the Democratic Party is using those troops to send the rest of us a message about power: Were in charge now.'
This quote is sure to stir up controversy, but Carlson has a point. Its a point that he goes on to back up with facts and logical reasoning.
The number of troops in Washington, D.C., currently, according to Carlson, is more than twice the number of troops that President Lyndon Johnson ordered to Washington in April of 1968.
As many Americans are aware, April 1968 was a month in which massive riots took place in the capital city in response to Martin Luther King, Jr.s assassination.
More than a thousand people were injured in those riots, and at least 13 of them died, Carlson said.
In comparison, he said there are three confirmed deaths from the Jan. 6 riots, one of which was an unarmed protester being shot by police.
From purely a numbers standpoint, Carlson is right. Washington, D.C., was in far more danger in April 1968 than it is now, and yet lawmakers have ordered double the number of troops this time around.
Unfortunately, we dont even have to go all the way back to 1968 to see the hypocrisy of lawmakers responses to riots.
Just a few months ago, Washington, D.C., was one of many major American cities under siege due to riots in the wake of George Floyds death.
According to the Military Times, the number of troops deployed to the capital city during the summer was much lower than the amount scheduled to be at Bidens inauguration.
The outlet reported that there were about 4,900 National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., on June 7 during the Floyd riots, and only about 1,500 troops were on the streets at any given time.
Despite what the establishment media may say, those riots were not mostly peaceful. Candace Owens, a D.C. resident and conservative commentator, tweeted that in her experience, the riots this summer were more destructive than the Capitol Hill incursion.
Poster Comment:
During the Capitol incursion, someone got Pelousy's laptop which had National Security information on it. That could be the most damaging part of the incursion itself. She left it behind when she fled, and that was pure carelessness and stupidity.

All those assholes peddling hope that Trump was going to use the Insurrection act were truly idiotic. As if Trump plays 5d chess. Scott Mackay has been going on about how this was a Military presidency and if he meant utterly inept and at the mercy of traitors, then yes he was right.
This nonsense of a troop build up is a joke. Everyone said Biden would not be president. Even I believed the lie. Here we are... soon to be under communism starting tomorrow.

Biden is planning a slew of E.O.s to turn back all of Trumps work in keeping out illegals and even granting amnesty to many who are here already.
Then he will open the flood gates to allow all those in Mexico from the caravans into the country. ;)

Seems a bit odd as a real Trump supporter would be unlikely to want to sell it to any foreign power.

I took it with a grain of salt. I was most hopeful when Sidney Powell swore on TV it wouldn't happen, that she had a Kraken waiting with her lawsuit filings. Being she was a former fed prosecutor and also Flynn's attorney, an assumption of credibility was not unreasonable.
But at the same time, we knew nothing of her psychological state. Did she have the opposite of TDS? Her lawsuits apparently went nowhere, unless they are somehow still in litigation, and now it seems Dominion is suing her, and a few others, for defamation.

I think it was more than likely a domestic intelligence agent that snagged it.
Recall the email scandals with Hillary using unsecure servers, and even some of those emails ending up on someone else's laptop, though I cannot recall the name of the individual. ;)

Then that means it was sent to China. They don't need it, they already have the goods.
I'm surprised our benevolent tech overlords let my internet run long enough to read this.

It's substantially more unrealistic that the dollar can survive much longer, though I will confess it's already lasted far longer than I expected.
The money is where the power is. That's why I say crypto is a powerful weapon against this centralized power.
Attributed to one of the Rothschild's:
Well, with free market cyrpto, no one has control of the money.
As for the USA, I think Texas should start a ballot initiative to secede.

It will be a lark if that has happened since the word is out on how corrupt the Dominion voting machines really are. ;)

In which case, Sidney should welcome the suit, as it will allow her allegations to finally see the light of day.
Assuming the court actually allows a fair civil trial.
It would be quite an event if, 6 months from now, the court finds that Powell's allegations were correct and Dominion's systems were indeed compromised in Biden's favor.

That is always the main question.
I would be LMAO if this happened since it would show that Biden was installed and not elected. ;)

It would be yet another "Trump was right all along" moment, and the crowning one at that!

That's assuming the "word" is indeed accurate. I hate to say it but from what I'm seeing, there's a lot of misinfo out there that purports to favor Trump. We've been hearing since mid-November numerous sources telling us how Biden won't be sworn in and how Trump had everything wrapped up in a nice neat little package. I like Bill Still but he was still, as late as several days ago, attaching that Powell clip to all his reports of that interview on Fox where Powell says Biden wouldn't be sworn in and that Trump will continue his term. From where I sit, I feel like I as an armchair internet warrior could have given a more informed interview than that former fed prosecutor did. At least on that singular point.
But that ain't happening. Trump will be a private citizen by this time tomorrow. Maybe it's people who can't accept Trump losing as fact, sincerely reporting Trump victory views they cannot let go of, unable to accept defeat. Or maybe these are just shysters that feed us things we want to believe in return for either monetary click bait or ego bonuses. Or maybe they are intentional provocateurs stirring the pot and damaging morale by raising hopes that will be dashed, or stirring strife among the pro-Trump masses.
On some combination of the three. My dad used to say, in war, truth is the first casualty, and certainly that's true for both sides, no matter which side God is on, as they say. And indeed, both sides always insist God is on their side, don't they?
Well, that's my venting for the last day of Trump's presidency.
But to end on a positive note, Trump won't go away. He's still filthy rich, he's still a patriot and he's mad as hell, even under his newly found calm demeanor. He'll do something. However I fear for his safety, or moreso, the safety of his family. We all know how the deep state operates when they want to delete someone from the scene they do not like. They don't kill the person as it would martyr them. They instead take out someone very dear to a loved one which often cripples them psychologically.
