Joe Biden. Joe Biden. Joe fucking fucking motherfucking Biden. In a country of 328 million people the guy that gets elevated to the top is literally one of the very worst human beings in the entire population. Thats the democracy youre being told is under attack.
And this isnt even prime Joe Biden. This is coming out of retirement for a half-assed exhibition match Joe Biden. This is way past sell-by date Joe Biden. This is Joe Biden with missing pieces. Thats the sort of animal that rises to the highest elected office in US democracy.
The inauguration was a whole internet of liberals performing amazing mental contortions to forget that Joe Biden is a disgusting piece of shit. Now everyone has forgotten who Joe Biden is, including Joe Biden. A nationwide dementiafest.
❖
Obama campaigned on Hope and Change and delivered nothing but neoliberal oppression and imperialist mass murder. Biden campaigned on Fuck you, no and people think hes somehow going to deliver something positive.
People are so cute.
You can do it Democrats! Just two years of stalling progressive change before you lose the House and Senate and can start claiming the lack of progress is due to an obstructionist congress!
❖
I still cant get over the fact that Dems consciously chose not to give Americans the amount of money they said they would. They discussed it, then said Nah. Too much. Subtract that $600 from before.
❖
Leftist: Theres been a bombing!
Liberal: Oh no! Where??
Leftist: The Middle East and Africa mostly. Our government drops bombs there every day.
Liberal: Ohh thank God. I thought you meant a bombing of real people.
❖
Ask people if they believe all lives are of equal value regardless of where in the world they live and how much money they have, and most will tell you yes. But if you look at their worldviews and the lives those worldviews tend to snuff out, for most the real answer would be no.
The majority of the people who rightly say Black lives matter give zero fucks about the people of color who are being butchered by the US empire in the Global South right now. Mass media punditry trains people to only values the lives in their own part of the world.
❖
Being an anti-imperialist in this society is like being the black sheep of the family who never gets invited to holiday dinners because she always brings up the fact that Uncle Larry is a child molester.
Every day Biden chooses not to move on ending the war in Yemen translates directly into many more dead children. This is not an exaggeration, it is a fact. It requires much, much more urgency than its getting.
❖
Trumps actions in Yemen alone make him a monster whose name should only be spoken with disgust. If you abhor Obama for his warmongering theres no legitimate reason not to abhor Trump as well.
❖
Trump was none of the things Democrats said he was and none of the things Republicans said he was and all of the things they both are.
❖
There are already at least three likely 2024 presidential candidates against whom the Democratic candidate would be the lesser evil: Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley, and Tom Cotton. This system is designed to feed you an endless river of evil so that you are floating in evil all the time no matter how you vote.
The way to stop the rise of right wing extremism and conspiracy theories is to end government corruption and government secrecy, not to implement authoritarian measures under the banner of fighting terrorism. This is obvious to everyone who isnt an idiot.
❖
To stop fascism theyll roll out Patriot Act 2, secretly implement more FBI programs, surveil, censor, militarize, anything except change the conditions which feed into the rise of fascism.
Because their rule depends upon those conditions.
And because theyre fine with fascism.
❖
Socialists who promote socialism using esoteric leftist jargon that ordinary people dont understand arent really interested in promoting socialism. Its just a nerdy hobby for them. Theyre the same as Star Trek nerds speaking Klingon.

One advantage the far right has over us is that the mainstream consent-manufacturing shitlib culture that is churned out 24/7 by Hollywood is so plainly artificial and cringey. The left needs to fight back by creating culture, real culture, authentic art and media that moves something deep in people, and by rejecting the establishments conveyor belt culture instead of just its politics.
This is why something as simple as Bernie Sanders turning up in mittens captured everyones hearts and imaginations. It was such a glitch in the whole phony performance and such a nice break from being lied to all the fucking time. We need to give people that experience way more.
Trust in the plutocratic media is at an all-time low and our ability to network and share information is at an all-time high. We absolutely do have a window to wake each other up from the propaganda and create a healthy world. But internet censorship is creeping forward, so means it must be soon.

Loddy, can you diagram this for me? As I recall, you're 4um's resident English genius.
I'm a multi-lingual illiterate. There's a whole lot of languages that I can't speak, read or write.
All I know is, that I'll never run the movie "Солярис" (с тифлокомментариями) (фантастика, реж. Андрей Тарковский, 1972 г.) (Solaris 1972) on the ChromeBook on my nightstand to go to sleep by.
Man, did that ever give me some wicked nightmares. I'm glad that I didn't have to go to the jobsite today.
(Edit) There's a really pretty Slav girl at ~7:22 that may be Melania Trump. Just sayin'.
I'll bet that gal's a stunner today, but then again, a lot of Russian gals didn't age very well.

I sleep with stuff running on EweToob at night to try to mitigate my tinnitus. I haven't heard quiet for a little over seven years now. The MDs told me to run a fan or something, but that just puts noise-on- noise. The TeeVee I used to use got hit by lightning several years ago.
Thank you, Honda engineers. I'd probably think I was dead if my hearing ever went quiet.

She describes herself as a Rogue journalist. Bogan socialist. Anarcho- psychonaut. Guerilla poet. Utopia prepper.
Apparently "Bogan" is the Australian equivalent of redneck.
"Anarcho-psychonaut" is not about government but rather a belief that humans are capable of evolving into something better. Might involve drugs but I'm not sure.
Regarding anarchists, she wrote:
It's crazy how many so-called anarchists wind up advocating the same regime change agendas as the CIA and the US State Department. Like "Yeah I'm so anti-authoritarian I want the single most powerful authoritarian force on the planet to shore up even more control over the world."

More like uncouth, but I suppose redneck is on target also.
Bogan is, I think the first purely Aussie word. First one I know anyway.

I'm just a Hoosier Hick. I don't know nothin'.
Want a refrigerator that heats your house in the winter and keeps it cool in the summer? It takes about the same pipes as a normal 90%+ furnace.
Want a house that generates its own electricity and water?
Want to have efficient cars?
There's a lot more, but I only give stupid shit away for free. The real deal comes with a cost. Come see the testbed that I'm stuck living in. Open invitation to anybody that thinks that they've got the technical ability to understand it.
Yeah, I know. Have AOC spend a week with me and I'll give the c*nt a green new deal that works, and a little something else if you know what I mean.
And this fucked up country never will. Anymore that you'll have a fair election ever again. I figure I won't see 2021, I just don't really give a fuck anymore. You can lead a horse to water...
Sorry, I'm close to the end and BS isn't cutting it anymore. When I was busy taking care of my dying family, I wasn't wasting any downtime, I was working.
I guess I'm just a kook.

I told you I wasn't good at English, I didn't make myself clear. I was talking about language.
I can fly about anything you let me be pilot-in-command of. (Edit) I was always a better weatherman than fright service was. You don't "fly a helicopter" you just kind of think about it. /Edit
I'm not an MD, but I play one for myself.
I've never been musical or artistic.
I suppose if I can weld above ground (arc, mig, tig, whatever) I could probably do it under water, I think Arc is the only one that works. Yes, I have a scuba permit (not active). Nor is my pilot license.
I understand everything that there is to know about women (or whatever their designation is now).
It all comes down to one simple theorem, and I'm quite frankly surprised that you're not aware of it as smart as you are.
"If it's got tits, tires or floats on the water, it's trouble."
(Edit) The thing is helicopters are different from airplanes
An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or incompetent piloting, it will fly.
A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces and controls working in opposition to each other.
And if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying immediately and disastrously.
There is no such thing as a gliding helicopter.
That's why being a helicopter pilot is so different from being an airplane pilot, and why in generality airplane pilots are open, clear- eyed, buoyant, extroverts.
And helicopter pilots are brooders, introspective anticipators of trouble.
They know if something bad has not happened it is about to.
I didn't write that, Harry Reasoner did during the Vietnam War.
A lot (alot, allot) of fellas used to say that I've got a "machine gunners outlook."
I know why I got that reputation, now. I'll never drop my sights to worry about what's happening in my face, I look out further.
Sometimes part of the job is knowing when to bow out.
I'm not afraid to die, it would be a great relief.
I'm just sorry that my life's work is going to end up with folks that never knew me or cared about me.

Y'all are my family at 4um. I guess I'll just have to go with Jim, along with Chrissy's cabal of "Jims."
I've got no progeny, I'm the end of the line. I did manage to throw enough money at my neighbors across the street though when the goob was going to take their daughter away for child abuse when they wouldn't pay for root canal work on baby teeth.
I also paid for Lasik surgery when Papa wanted to volunteer for Desert Storm. I told him that you don't want to go into combat with glasses.
I messed up. How was I to know that you couldn't deploy if you've had surgery lately that you couldn't deploy? They made Chris a MP bounty hunter in the states (IN) rounding up the fellas that were not as brave as they thought.
I knew exactly what I was doing at the time. Chris could've been my son, he's probably about $200k in the hole, but he's still got the house and the garage that Mom helped me build for him. My last girly-friend had two great-grandkids.

22 It was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was the winter: 23 And Jesus walked in Solomon's hall. 24 Then came the jewes round about him, and said unto him: How long dost thou make us doubt? If thou be Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them: I told you and ye believe not: The works that I do in my father's name, bear witness of me: 26 but ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep. As I said unto you: 27 my sheep, hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, 28 and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My father which gave them me, is greater then all men, and no man is able to take them out of my father's hand. 30 And I and my father are one.

She put me into a new and innovative thing called reading Readyness after kindygarden (Grade (0.5).
Somewhere along the line, Nyla Armstrong's hatred for me melted away in future years.
I managed to do OK, but that homo/creep Fred something-or-other, was weird.

Dad says I lasted 3 days. Well, that's how long the teacher lasted before she threw me out. When I started 1st grade I didn't even know the alphabet, and most of the other kids could already read. Teacher divided the students into three groups according to reading ability: Eagles, Doves, and Blackbirds (or something like that). I was a blackbird.
My mom, who died a few years ago, always told me the reason they didn't send me to kindergarten was because I was too smart. Only last year did I finally learn the truth -- from my dad: They did send me, but I got thrown out after 3 days.

I can think of only one such poem or hymn: Wesley's And Can It Be, That I Should Gain? Watts wouldn't have done that.
I'll tell you what grates me like Parmigiano-Reggiano: people's using and as the first word of a retort. E.g. the time I told a motel front desk clerk that the sofa on the balcony was dangerously posed, that a child could easily fall to his death if climbing or playing on it as children do. Her answer: "AND why would a child be unattended?"
While we're on the subject, have you noticed people starting conversations with "so" lately? "So, at work today we were all in this meeting, and..."

Strangely, I don't remember anything about those three days. When we would drive by the little building (in a little country town a couple miles south of our old house), my parents would say There's where Jill and Jack (sibs 2 and 3 years older than I) went to kindergarten. I'd say What about me? They'd answer You didn't go. That was it. I didn't then and still don't remember ever stepping inside that building. They'd call that PTSD today, I guess.
