Betty was just some old, fat hillbilly two doors east of me. I never really got to know her until I was back home after '95 or so while I was busy putting my family to bed. She was a nice gal.

When I saw her son Clayton taking her poodles away, I knew she was gone.

I sent one of those big stand up flower things on the wire tripod deal. I knew enough about Betty that she didn't like red type flowers, so I sent this white/yellow thingy.

They'd placed the thing at the head of her casket. It about brought me to my knees when I saw it. Betty and her family weren't real well off. I'm glad I did what I did.
