A high school student in Baltimore passed three courses in the last four years. He has a 0.13-grade point average but has the distinction of being at the top of his class.

This is not his failure. The people who have been paid to teach him should hang their heads in shame.

“He's stressed and I am too. I told him I'm probably going to start crying. I don't know what to do for him,” France told Project Baltimore. “Why would he do three more years in school? He didn't fail, the school failed him. The school failed at their job. They failed. They failed, that's the problem here. They failed. They failed. He didn't deserve that."

............

As we dig deeper into her son’s records, we can see in his first three years at Augusta Fells, he failed 22 classes and was late or absent 272 days. But in those three years, only one teacher requested a parent conference, which France says never happened. No one from the school told France her son was failing and not going to class.

Couldn't she be bothered to look at a report card now and then, or have those been cancelled for being racist?

Idaho spends $7,800 per pupil almost half.

Maryland is 15th in spending on students at Spending Per Pupil $14,762

Years ago my home in Baltimore was torn down along many others to build that school. The theory was that inner city blacks would do better going to school in an all white area.

I and the other whites moved away, far away.

Nancy Pelosies father was Mayor.

Let me think... now call me crazy but who runs our educational system in that city? What party has run that city for decades? Should we believe that this is clearly a problem with white privilege and Donald Trump?
