Chuck Schumer just drove the final nail in this top Democrat’s coffin

Democrats are trying to contain the fallout from a growing scandal.

Many on the Left are worried it could cost them their majorities next November.

And that’s why Chuck Schumer just drove the final nail in this top Democrat’s coffin.

Appearing on MSNBC, Chuck Schumer tossed New York Governor Andrew Cuomo under the bus as a sixth woman stepped forward to claim Governor Cuomo fondled her under her blouse.

Schumer offered no defense of Cuomo in his appearance on MSNBC and instead called the allegations “troubling” and supported an independent investigation.

“Well, every one of these allegations is really serious, really troubling, and needs to be carefully, carefully looked at. I have always said that sexual harassment is just not tolerable in our society, and we know that. And so, I, early on, called for an independent investigation. I have a great deal of faith, Lawrence, in the attorney general of New York State (Letitia James),” Schumer stated.

“She will uncover everything. She will turn over every stone. She has subpoena power for both records and witnesses. And I am also confident that she will resist any outside interference, political or otherwise. I have faith in her,” Schumer concluded.

Nothing will happen. The left only cares when it is a republican. They are going to prove to us once and for all that their bias is real.

Expect Chris Cuomo to start doing what is needed to protect his brother. To turn public opinion against Andrew's accusers. Just like how they made the Biden scandal disappear with Tara Reade.

I am of the mind that telling the truth is revolutionary and believing that at any point good people will do the right thing is a fantasy. I spent the Clinton years listening the people peddling hope, through Bush2 peddling hope, Obama peddling hope and then 4 years of idiots peddling hope. The last year alone was my breaking point with regards to people peddling hope.

It is why Bill Still, Scott Mackay, Steve Peczenik, and a lot of other bullshitters peddling hope are people I will never trust.

When telling the truth is revolutionary, you are actually on the side of right. So I would rather be surprised than believe for one moment that there is justice for good people in this world.

I refer to it as Bullshit Optimism.

So I would rather be surprised than believe for one moment that there is justice for good people in this world.

I suppose that's the way I look at things. Never really thought about it much, just lived it. Folks love to say I have a bad attitude. I've seen too much not to.
