But the Pope took his left-wing political activism a step further than anyone could have predicted.

In an interview with journalist Domenico Agasso, Pope Francis called on nations around the globe to use the Coronavirus to create a new world order based on radical environmentalism and other left-wing touchstones.
“The world will never be the same again. But it is precisely within this calamity that we must grasp those signs which may prove to be the cornerstones of reconstruction,” Pope Francis stated.
Francis echoed the Democrat Party mantra of never letting a crisis go to waste to call for a reorientation of human society.
“Let us all keep in mind that there is something worse than this crisis: the drama of wasting it,” Pope Francis added. “We cannot emerge from a crisis the same as before: we either come out better or we come out worse.”
Pope Francis continued on saying the new reality will advance the Left’s agenda to impose socialism “by building a new world order based on solidarity, studying innovative methods to eradicate bullying, poverty and corruption,” the Pope added that, “all working together, each for their own part, without delegating and passing the buck.”
Pope Francis explained that a central component of this new world order would be far-left environmental policies to combat so-called “climate change.”
“We can no longer blithely accept inequalities and disruptions to the environment,” Pope Francis asserted. “The path to humanity’s salvation passes through the creation of a new model of development, which unquestionably focuses on coexistence among peoples in harmony with Creation.”
This breathtaking call by the leader of the Catholic Church to create a “new world order” based on left-wing dogma concerned many people around the world.
Pope Francis has always conducted himself like a political activist.
But since he speaks for the Church, his activism gets imbued with a sense that his politics are church teaching and that for Catholics – or anyone else – to disagree with Francis is going against the Catholic faith’s teachings.

I was born and raised Roman Catholic. Now where I am living, the Bishop says if you are over 60 you do not have to attend mass on Sunday.
I saw this older man who was my ride over there for Saturday church. I asked him, "If nobody at the church for mass has Covid, how do they think older people will catch it?" ;)

Me too. They have a pretty good education program but are spiritually empty and evil. Making old people go to catholic church is elder abuse and they're only into child abuse. That's why they let you off.

Father O'Hara wanted all of us to be altar boys. I did not want to be one so I had to take some heat.
But I did play the organ for mass at the Chapel. I was paid $5 for each Sunday. That was not too bad for a grade school kid.
When I got older and had bought a 76 Blazer, I was doing newspaper relays for the local agency. That truck was a gas hog. I would shut if off while counting out the papers. I would put out headlights too. One night a cop flagged me down. He asked, "What are you doing?" I told him, "Ruuning newspaper relays." Then he asked his female partner, "What's in back?" She said, "Newspapers." I said to the cop, "And you were thinking it was midnight auto parts." ROTFLOL
