The main problem with not letting them loose is the City must house and feed them.

How much room do they have on Rikers Island? It seems to me they keep those cells for the most hardened criminals. ;)

Convicted felons go to state prisons. Get some judges out of retirement and start prosecuting people. You are not supposed to sit in jail 9 months waiting for a trial.

They have some guy in the County Jail without bond here who did a shooting near the Casey's. Supposedly the pistol has not been recovered. It is a big mess. :-/
