If you were overseas, would you hold any dollars you did not need to spend in the immediate future? This will raise prices here in the US forcing others overseas to dump even more dollars. Nigeria just dumped the dollar.

I'd ask my physicist buddy about that, but he stroked-out several years ago. I bet he'd say it has something to do with the available amount of electrons (short of a nuclear reaction), but it's my understanding that light elements aren't very energy rich.
