I haven't even unboxed the new miter saw I got for my birthday a couple of months ago -- can't afford to buy any lumber to cut with it!

"Gee, could it be to keep the price gouging and profits up?? This whole excuse that "it's due to covid" b*llsh!t has got to stop!"

If that were the case, they could manipulate prices higher any time they want. No need to wait until a pandemic.

If lumber supply builds up, it generally means lower than expected demand. I'm no industry expert, but it would seem to me that having all that lumber sit at a RR yard is probably not good for the product. Clearly if the producing corps wanted to squeeze supply, they'd do it by cutting back on production, not by making it and piling it up at some rail way junction waiting for prices to go up.

But okay, if prices are up then it should mean demand is high. But if demand is low then why are prices so high? It doesn't make sense.

I could NOT Possibly AGREE with YOU MORE!

And........... You (think) they Don't?

Don't you remember when some Arab FARTED when Dubya was in office and Diesel Fuel went to $4.75/ gallon, because WE were using up ALL the oil?

Then the BEST PRESIDENT in Your LIFETIME was elected and MAGA America became the No.1 Producer and EXPORTER of oil and Fuel

Where'd That Come From?

Six months Ago Diesel Fuel I bought for $1.43/ gallon

Now It's DOUBLE.

and EVERYTHING YOU BUY is Going Through the Roof.

When You CONTROL SUPPLY. YOU CONTROL DEMAND. Any time YOU FEEL Like It. Don't Get Mad. Just Watch THIS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giu23Ii3PAA And Apply It To EVERYTHING in YOUR Life.

Remember the gas thing in the early 70's, one day no gas, a few months later there was all the gas you could want, at 5 times the price.
