I've pretty much convinced myself that most of the problems we're seeing in the country now are the result of mothers feeding their children soy formula (GMO or not), and then the assholes continuing the consumption into their adulthoods.
One thing is certain, Mother's milk contains antibodies the infant is not able to produce. My Mom had to use a breast pump to get enough milk for the two of us.
She always told my two sisters, "Never marry someone you meet in a dance hall." I think they met in the old Milford Dance Hall which was right next to the Milford Theater. ;)
I was living in my Sister's attic flat on Springfield north of Diversey. She was a Dental Hygienist and worked part time as a bar tender at a nearby place on Diversey. She carried a .38 Snub nose revolver in the waistband of her pants. I said, "Let's see that pistol you carry."
I tried to cock it and it was rusted. I asked, "When is the last time you cleaned this?" She said, "A month ago."
I told her, "If you are going to carry this you need to clean it twice a week or THIS is what happens." :-/
