Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke out against the unconstitutional continued persecution of the Jan. 6 protesters.
The US Government has arrested somewhere near 450 US citizens for the protests at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Many of those patriots were arrested by the FBI after they were welcomed into the US Capitol by police officers that day. (This we know for a fact.)
And many of the men and women arrested continue to be held in isolation without trial.
This is unconstituional. But we are living in an unconstitutional era. The Democrats and many, many Republicans, like Liz Cheney, support this.
The weak GOP has done NOTHING to stand up for the constitutional rights of these people.

But Russian FM Lavrov is speaking out against the persecution of these men and women. What a disgrace that the Russian leader has more balls than Republican leaders.

Greetings. I was very glad to read the above statement from the Foreign Minister. It shames America for being such a sorry excuse for a democracy and free country, especially coming from an officer in the former Soviet Union. I hope many of my fellow Americans will take heed and be sobered by his opinions.
But speaking of the USSR, when will your government start apologizing for enslaving Russia and half of Europe for most of the last century, and wreaking havoc in many other countries? Do you, the direct recipient of this message, feel any shame at all for these 70 years in hell for not only Russians but Poles, Romanians, East Germans ad inf.?
Reparations are clearly in order, insofar as they are possible in view of how many millions of people the USSR murdered for political, religious and economic reasons. Ukraine would be a great place to start since many victims of the Holodomor are still living. Your clear embodiment of the 666-beast even murdered geography -- I'm sure its central-planning wreckage of the Aral Sea can be seen from outer space.
In short, under the Soviet Socialist red rag your country (including many living citizens) was a plague on the entire globe for that period -- and it's obvious the USSR never fully died: Russia still rattles its saber at any show of anti-communist patriotism and remembrance in its former victim states.
I know every one of America's faults and crimes and spend time every day exposing them. But nothing compares to the USSR's sealing off whole countries in a gulag 10 million square miles huge.
