According to Jay Lund, co-director of the Center for Watershed Sciences at the University of California-Davis, the state’s more than 1,500 reservoirs are 50 per cent lower than they should be this time of year.
“In the previous drought, it took (the reservoirs) three years to get this low as they are in the second year of this drought,” Mr Lund said.

Diener, a California water expert and farmer, has been warning steadily that water is unnecessarily being let out to sea as the state faces a normal dry year.
“Are we having a dry year? Yes,” Diener says. “That is normal for us. Should we be having water shortages in the start of our second dry year? No. Our reservoirs were designed to provide a steady five year supply for all users, and were filled to the top in June 2019.”

I'm afraid this bodes very badly for other states -- all kinds of ppl being forced to leave CA, many millions of 'em. 'As the most populous state in the United States and a major agricultural producer, drought in California can have a severe economic as well as environmental impact. Drought may be due solely to, or found in combination with, weather conditions; economic or political actions; or population and farming' -- wikid. Population, that's the keyword as is so often the case anymore.....

Because for the last three or four years the false narritive being pushed, of weed farms draining all the water out of california . Numbers need to be faked to make the proof of the false narritive, not unlike the corana death numbers.
