Tucker Carlson did an extensive monologue and interview last night as a review of the January 6th DC protest contrast against the likelihood of FBI organization and coordination. Many are calling this a brave discussion because Carlson will likely face backlash for the overview. As CTH has noted often, the politicization of the U.S. intelligence apparatus is the biggest threat to our constitutional republic. In this segment Carlson arrives at the same conclusion.
Carlson used a Revolver article (SEE HERE) by Darren Beattie as the framework for the discussion. The additional examples Carlson uses are familiar to CTH readers as we have used them before to highlight how politically corrupt the FBI has become. I was calling this exact thing many years ago. After 911 there were all kinds of cases coming up where supposed terrorists were getting arrested by the FBI for plotting violence. What got my attention was how many of them were arrested after they bought bomb material and such from an "FBI informant".
It became apparent that what was happening is the FBI was scouring the internet and such for potential terrorists, then sending an "informant" to meet them and do their best to talk them into violence, and after they succeeded and persuaded them to take some preliminary actions, arrested them and charged them with terrorism. It was the same pattern over and over again. The FBI gets to claim they had a purpose and deserved more funds and such.
If I were in charge I'd re-open all these cases and, if they were driven to do what they did by FBI agents, vacate their convictions in whatever way possible.
