I remember commenting, somewhat satirically, perhaps 20 years ago, that having separate bathrooms for males and females was akin to segregation in the same way that having separate water fountains for blacks and whites was wrong. Race and gender are equal in their standing in prohibiting segregation.

I pointed out the insanity of it and never dreamed I'd see it.

The school will now simply have to go through the needless added cost of replacing lavatories with a series of single person use bathrooms.
