"You want to beat on me some more, Brother?", I asked with the bat in my hand.
"No, not today."
That was the second to the last time he ever tried to beat me up.
The next time he tried, he was winning so I smashed my mother's (and her late mother's) antique wicker chair over his back, just like in an old cowboy movie.
He never tried to beat me up again, and we get along just fine now.

I test drove one of these. Nice car, but pretty pricey at the time. I don't remember what I ended up buying.

It had a switch under the dash and when the driver would flip it, a compartment in the back of the front bench seat would open revealing a hiding place for a couple of rifles. Yikes!

I was walking a precinct. I went to this house with a Saab parked in the driveway. I was wearing my cowboy hat.
I rang the door bell and a man came to the door. I showed him the lit and gave him the spiel.
He asked, "Do you live around here?" I replied, "Have you ever heard of Pinedale, Wyoming?" He said, "No." I said, "I didn't think so."
The next thing you know there was a story in the local newspaper that the pro-gunners were bringing in people from the outside.
That was pure yellow journalism since they never bothered to call our headquarters and ask.
We beat them 66% to 32%. Someone on the City Council said, "This is a mandate."
A couple of guys on the Committee got drunk and put a "FOR SALE" sign in front of the woman's house that started it all.
No one worked the three precincts in Elk Grove Township and they voted in favor of the gun ban. Someone on the Committee said, "They don't need their freedom in Elk Grove township." ;)

(Edit) Falls off bumper: Ay blin! LOL. 'Blin' is a nice way of saying 'blyat'.
Standing anywhere near the centerline of those straps isn't very smart.
