Last Sunday a guy who owns a barbecue restaurant and catering service told me that he's had to quit taking orders for chicken. He said he can't get it.

Another guy who owns an industrial/commercial roofing company told me that they're almost shut down -- because they can't get roofing materials.

I'm waiting on a DC motor controller that may or may not be stranded on a Chinese cargo ship. With the chip shortages, that half ton boat anchor that needs it may be stuck in my shop for awhile. Nobody can tell me one way or another. They told me to check back after 6 Sept.

Every stock I own has been tanking all week, and now E-Trade is saying I may not be able to sell OTC stocks after end of September. Fortunately I don't have much in the OTC stuff, just purchases made with what was left over after buying blocks of regular stuff.

If we had a real president I would take the opportunity to buy more while it is cheap, but I don't think we are going to come out of it this time.

I hope your situation will improve.

I'm self-employed, and about a year ago I was planning to start sliding into retirement. But now with the Convid scam, the stolen election, shutdowns, the outrageous federal budget, the illegal immigration rate even higher than when George Bush was in office, the stock market and PMs crashing, and the obscene rate that fedgov is printing money, it looks like I'll have to work until I'm at least 127.

Unless I die early in the gulag.

Fortunately, my real money is in my 401k, the E-Trade stuff is just me trying to get a better return than the 0.02% from my savings account, and even that was far less than half of what I had in savings acct.

I was mainly commenting on how badly Bidet is tanking everything.
