If the mRNA vaccine effectiveness drops off after 6-8 months, that could mean whatever long term danger it possesses also drops off.

I don't think that there is any reason to believe that the second proposition follows from the first.

No one knows what all these different brews with all their various additives and adjuvants will do to the human body over the long term.
