Our oldest daughter has hers at home with a midwife. We have about a dozen grandchildren now, and several of our daughters haven't even started having babies yet.

All completely unvaccinated. And all completely healthy.

Oldest daughter's 3rd child spent some time with us here today. (They live only 4 houses away.)

Wife asked her if she wanted a Pepsi?

-- "What's a Pepsi?"

"It's like a Coke. Do you know what a Coke is?"

-- "No."

But she knows what Papwaw's premium root beer is.

No soy for me. I stopped eating bought bread years ago when they started putting soybean oil in it. I read every label. And rarely eat at restaurants because they can't be trusted.

When I was a kid it was A&W root beer at an A&W drive in. But there were none of those near Chicago. We had to go way out of town to find them. ;)

When I was a kid in Kokomo, IN, A&W sold rootbeer, hotdogs, burgers, and fries. Locally owned, some of the kids I went to school with knew the owners of the A&W franchise. They were Catholic, best I recall, and sent their kids to private school, which is why I don't remember the kids (never met them), but almost all my friends knew one or more members of the family.

Here in South Carolina a hot dog by default has chili on it. A friend of mine when he was a kid would travel up to DE-troit to buy used cars with his his dad. He ordered a hot dog up there, and it came with without anything on it.
