Dutch greenhouses raise 890,000 pounds of tomatoes per acre! I have been studying them. As you know, I have a gardening blog.

That doesn't matter. There will always be plenty of food if you are willing and able to pay the price. I don't spend much (less than 10%) of my retirement on food. Food can double in price for all I care.

gardening

I had a garden in the back yard of the house in Chicago. I brought a home grown cabbage over to my Aunt. She made Cole Slaw.

She told me later the kids were asking what it was? She told them, "Cole Slaw."

They couldn't get enough of it. Cole Slaw from a fresh cabbage is a lot different than from a cabbage that has been in cold storage for a few months. ;)
