I was talking to a woman who lived in NYC. She had been working two jobs so she could send her son to a private school since the public schools there were rife with violence and drugs.

Apparently she had hired a Nanny to look after him in the evening.

She wanted to send her kid out to me so she could go to Syria as a cook for the U.N.

I put the kaibosh on that move pretty darn quickly.

Besides, how would a kid with a NYC accent fare in school with the hillbillies and farm kids in school here? ;)

Kids in private schools in NYC do not have accents. I met them when I was in Boston going to school.
