I finally found out the final truth about you. They told me you were permanently retired in 1998, just two years after seeing you in 2006 and not recognizing you. I'm so sorry about that, it still haunts me to this day. I'm back in the game, the mission profile has changed greatly, now it's about undoing a mess that got out of control because... Stupid. You know how I felt about working in the US. I'm willing to do it now that I'm so much younger, like my buddy Lod explained to me.

I wish I could see your eyes and unusual gait again. I dream about you sometimes, not near as much as I'd like. Maybe the gentle healing powers of time has made me not remember any bad times between us, maybe it's my brain damage in 2013 when I died.

This last my ride, I'm gonna do the right thing. I miss you.

This was our last ride together Punk. I remember the bar by the airport, don't remember the name, don't remember where we were going. I can still see this like it was yesterday. You and me were the only ones at that bar on an early Saturday afternoon. I still remember driving there.

Metallica

We were working Metallica in Chicago. The show was in the round.

Before the show started, the lead guitar player was walking around inside the barricade. Someone in the crowd reached for his guitar and our guy pushed his hand away.

People in the crowd are not allowed to mess with the equipment.

One time at the Vic Theater some guy grabbed the monitor and started to bounce it up and down on the stage.

I was standing on stage left. I took two steps forward and told the guy while pointing at him, "Knock it off." ;)
