Great clip. I can accept the reality that mistakes are made in the science and medical fields. That will happen in the normal course by good people. But where history repeats itself is how governments mislead and lie to people about health protocols even after they know better. It didn't just start with covid and didn't start in 1971 either. Gov systems are just not trustworthy when it comes to the well-being of the people, and people are apt to trust gov entities time and time again, generation after generation.

They deliberately put cancer causing agents in vaccines. Judyth Vary Baker wrote about that. She worked at the Riley Coffee Co in New Orleans with Lee Harvey Oswald. The Riley Coffee Co was a CIA front run by a retired FBI agent.

Yes, and our government gave syphilis to prisoners in Guatemala and Tuskegee, Alabama in the 40's.

I understand there's a counter argument about Tuskegee, that it's not quite what is now considered "fact checked" info. E.g. the claim that the gov infected black men with syphilis is challenged.

US researchers like John Charles Cutler, the author of the Tuskegee study, did not intentionally infect black prisoners in Alabama with the syphilis bacterium the way he and his associates earlier did in Guatemala.

There over a thousand orphans, soldiers, prisoners, prostitutes and mental patients were intentionally infected with syphilis without the informed consent of the subjects.

In Alabama, Cutler only treated syphilis in black prison inmates already infected with the disease with a placebo or with poisonous metals compounds that physicians are prohibited from employing today.

So there was that -- and the promise of a paid up $50 death and burial benefit. So the idea that Dr. Cutler willfully infected these Tuskegee prisoners is incorrect. Cutler only withheld beneficial treatment in a jurisdiction much less likely to pose the risk of tortious liability.

One begins to understand how quickly the French Revolution spun out of control and how classes regarded as ruthlessly exploiting the ordinary man were rounded up for such pitiless punishment. Those who run us hate us just as much, and while they are somewhat circumspect about it, they wish us just as much ill will. Episodes like "9-11" and the fruitless and murderous wars they lure young men into are testament to that.

There is a time soon when the Reaper will again appear. He will set the scythe against innocent and guilty alike. I hope that I am not around to see it.

I'm not well read on Tuskegee. It did occur to me while writing the prior comment the similarities between Tuskegee and Nazi Germany's crimes as it seems both are framed as being worse than they really were.

Ultimately, it's hard for us to know things for sure, I guess.
