AOC has been a problem for the Republicans, the public and now her party superiors have grown tired of her shenanigans.
One would think an underdog that is given a bit of leeway would show a little humility but not AOC! she has often touted her power and often used her media presence (howbeit negative) to insult and annoy her superiors in the Democratic party.
All it takes is one look at the political landscape in New York to see that her seniors have been trying to get rid of her and now, even the people have banded against her.
From openly disagreeing with Nancy Pelosi to participating in a protest against president Joe Biden; the list is practically endless and she doesn’t want to let up anytime soon.

She allowed illegal immigrants to flood into new york, drove 10s of thousands of Amazon jobs from New York and sided with Mayor de Blasio when he failed to warn new yorkers about the devastating storm that hit the city; and instead of owning up to his mistake, he blamed his own incompetence on the effects of climate change.
From top Democrats trying to get rid of her to her constituents calling for her removal or resignation; it’s quite clear that she’s all alone and that’s her doing. she backed herself into a corner and made enemies of everyone around her. her time in Washington might be expiring.
the new york post published a new piece that suggests that her stand against Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden’s Agenda has stirred up even, more negative energy towards her from her higher-ups and many believe it’s time for her to go. Ocasio-Cortez has been critical of passing the infrastructure bill without the Build Back Better Act.

While members of Congress are understood not to have to face impeachment, they can be removed from office through expulsion.

Alcee Hastings (D FL) was impeached and removed from office. He then had the nerve to run again for Congress from his Florida district and won.
