Face coverings “unlikely to have much of an impact” in fighting Omicron...

The weave of those blue surgical masks we are being forced to wear is too large to stop the passing of Covid 19 which is .1. to.2 Microns in size. What everyone needs are the N-95 masks. But those cost quite a bit more than those blue pieces of shit. ;)

29,000 TONS OF COVID PLASTIC NOW FLOATS IN THE OCEANS

"When we started doing the math, we were surprised to find that the amount of medical waste was substantially larger than the amount of waste from individuals, and a lot of it was coming from Asian countries, even though that’s not where most of the COVID-19 cases were," study co-author Amina Schartup, an assistant professor at UC San Diego’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography, said in the press release. "The biggest sources of excess waste were hospitals in areas already struggling with waste management before the pandemic; they just weren’t set up to handle a situation where you have more waste."

And we can add this to the Pacific plastics patch which is harvested by ocean going tugs to get all of the plastic waste out of the oceans. That plastic breaks down into tiny pieces and fish eat it thinking it is food and it kills them. ;)

Yeah, but the point is this fedgov which puts ppl out of business to save some obscure species of snail has filled the country with oceans more totally unnecessary plastic than there already were. How it gets to the ocean, that I don't understand.

Ocean-going tugs, I had no idea.

It seems the plastics get into rivers and streams and wash downstream into the oceans. ;)

But how do they get into rivers and streams??? Do you go down to the river to throw plastics in? Neither do I. Is there any chance this is simply another huge hoax?
