Vlad's mother had him baptized into the Russian Orthodox Church on the feast day of St. Michael. The priest suggested she name him Michael, but she had already decided on Vladimir in honor of his father. ;)

When I was a kid in the 60s in Chicago, we lived a mile from Wrigley Field. We would walk to the ball games in summer. It cost $1 to get into the Bleachers.

One game I spotted a $20 on the ground near refreshment stand. I pounced on that real quick. That was a lot of cash back then. Now it will not buy much at all. ;)

Sorry, Not Sorry: Feminism Is Out to Destroy Manhood

We were working Dokken at The Vic Theater in Chicago. I was doing the after show party in the upper lobby after the show.

There were these two guys there who were Dokken freaks. I was looking after one of them. I turned around and the other had Dokken pinned against the wall. He was looking over at me like, "Help!"

So I got both of them out of there, "Alright, you got to meet the band. Time to go home."

Then there was this chick leaning against a pillar. Dokken picked up her top and signed across her chest right above her hooters.

A short time later we were walking down the stairs. Dokken turned to me and said, "You know what her boyfriend said to me? He said, "Go ahead man, she's good."

Then Dokken said, "I don't think so. What would you do?"

I said, "You know what I would do? I would go and get my Don Dokken mask."

We got everyone on the bus and the driver closed the door. Dokken came up front and had the driver open the door. He came off the bus and shook my hand and thanked me personally.

The last thing he said was,"Get some sleep." Sleep was kinda scarce in those days. LOL

I told that story on Facebook to some people who still have a band going and they gave me a "thumbs up". LOL
