Sorry, Biden, your cunning plan to lower meat prices might not work.

Prices will go up higher because grain prices for corporate feed lots are going up. China is buying grain everywhere they can all around the world. Pasture fed beef is due to bad weather not just drought. The Jet Stream has been allowed to wander all over the place because the north and south poles are less magnetic and have been moving around. That happens in a Grand Solar Minimum.

The price of beef and veal increased 20.1% between October 2020 and October 2021, recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows. ... It's far outpacing the increasing price of pork, which is 14.1% more expensive than it was at this time last year.

They paid an average of about $2.50 more for grass-fed beef and $3 more for grass-fed organic beef per pound than we did for conventional supermarket beef.

A lot of money to be made in pasture raised animals. Using modern science, you can triple photosynthesis and raise healthier crops and animals thus lowering costs. Big Ag has not caught not. Small farmers, ranchers and market gardeners will lead the way.

Learn to fish. Lots of fish. There are 30 million deer. And 200 million rabbits roaming around uncooked. Rabbits in a hutch were popular in the last Depression.

Get some chickens.

I was raising Turkeys, Chickens and Sheep on a small farm in SW Missouri as caretaker of the property.

The water pump went out and the owner did not have the money to replace it. So we moved to Golden City. I bought that house there for $5k.

When I got sick, my younger sister came there from Chicago. She told me the deep freeze was loaded with turkey and chicken. She gave them all away and a friend took the deep freeze to use as storage for Raccoon pelts.

He had caught a Bobcat in a leg hold trap and he put it in a cage and would throw it Raccoon carcasses.

Wild life officers caught him with the Bobcat in the cage and he had to pay $180 fine. You can't keep a wild animal in a cage.

He still owes me $100 for the deep freeze. He has those coon dogs he has to feed too and that is no small potatoes. ;)
