After the publication of a video of the collision of an American F-35 fighter with the deck of an aircraft carrier, it became known that the world's first female F-35 pilot was at the helm of the US Navy's fifth generation fighter. This, according to American sources, was her first flight from the deck of an aircraft carrier, which was enough to destroy a fighter worth more than $ 100 million.

The information that the fighter was flown by a woman was presented to the media by one of the crew members of the American aircraft carrier Carl Vinson, noting that despite the fact that the woman had completed a full course of training and successfully completed the take-off and landing training program on the deck of an aircraft carrier, for her, the current flight was the first from the deck of a real warship.

This would seem to be the problem. Simulators are not the same as the real, live thing in the real world. ;)

I'm not a pilot, but I would assume that her training involved actually taking off and landing the aircraft on runways set up to simulate a carrier flight deck. Not likely that all she had done was "fly" a simulator.

They certainly can't simulate g-forces that are severe on both take offs and landings.

I call it firstism -- the first female this, the first black that ad inf is often disastrous, partly because communist ideologues in high places push people past their innate limitations to make some stupid point. Usually the only objective is to shame the majority (basically middle- class whites) into giving up more ground on its way to total extinction.

I'm sure many of you remember the raucous excitement and ecstasy that greeted New York City getting its first black mayor. And in places like quora.com they're still calling Dinkins the city's worst ever.
