Travis County, Texas, District Attorney Joe Garza has planned a grand jury to consider charging over twenty police officers for their reaction to forceful riots in Austin after the death of George Floyd in 2020.
The formation of the grand jury, confirmed by Fox News, is predicated on demonstrations near Austin Police Headquarters on May 30 and 31, 2020, throughout which APD officers fired bean bags, rubber bullets, and tear gas during a protest that spiraled out of control.

I remember a neighborhood bar carved out of an old neighborhood house just few doors down from my host's happy clapboard two story.
Windows were all open and there was no front door. I remember the sign over the bar mirror: "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."
Cheers.
