Kyle Rittenhouse is arousing the ire of liberals with a social media meme.
The Illinois youth shared a video on his personal Twitter account that superimposed an image of a gas station and a pump over footage of him crying while testifying in his homicide trial.
The meme addresses the skyrocketing gas prices under the Biden administration in a touch of dark humor one might expect of a 19-year-old boy.
Rittenhouse also referenced a tweet from LeBron James in which the NBA superstar chalked up Rittenhouses tearful reaction during his testimony to eating Lemon Heads.
The video, which had over 30,000 likes as of Friday, incensed liberal Twitter users.
Ron Filipkowski, a partisan Democrat with a large following on Twitter, falsely claimed that Rittenhouse had reenacted his testimony in the video.

I like it, but I'm probably a wee bit more jaded and cynical than your average bear.

That said, While I thought it was funny, I can understand why other people might not.
I have not broken down and cried at the gas pump. I have however gotten upset over the price of coffee. THAT is probably what will send me over the edge. Thank god Liquor is still cheap.

I was at Vijay's joint yesterday getting smokes. I didn't even look at the price of gas. However, two cartons of smokes is over $100. I only know that because I have to sign the CC thing now.
I was at the liquor store yesterday too. They never have Windsor on sale anymore. If they do, I'll buy cases.

In all honesty, I am a bit of a whisky snob, and while my go to drink might be vodka, if I drink whisky, its usually Glenmorangie. A now deceased friend had gifted me one of the Shackleton bottles that came out some years ago.
At any rate, if I can find a case of this stuff locally, well work something out.

Don't bother. When I said "on sale" I meant at a discount. Supply is not a problem, yet. Thanks anyway.
I use Windsor Canadian for mixed drinks, usually with tea unless with friends where I'll use diet cola. The best Whiskey straight I've ever had is Forty Creek. That stuff puts Crown Royal to shame.
