I know people who fabricate things for Loaders and such, and they’re good people for the most part. The one guy is a grifter but otherwise they’re good people. That said buying good welding equipment is an expensive endeavor. I have a cheap buzz box that works pretty well, but eventually am going to upgrade to something better once my rust bucket is repaired. The weather permitting. We just got snow and now we are getting rain. Which means with any luck natural selection is going to start doing its job in a few hours.

Gotta love morons on the road.
