I get on the Chicago Outfit Facebook page since it helps me remember growing up in Chicago after the Meningitis wiped out so much.

The way it happened was I told a story about this guy that was knocking over Speak Easy's during Prohibition. Capone put the hit on them. So him and his partner took it on the lamb to Boston.

they got back about a month later and Capone's boys grab them. they take them in front of Big Al. He told me, "We were standing there with our hats in our hands, "We're sorry Mr. Capone. We won't ever do it again." And Capone says, "Yeah? Well hit someone else's joints. now get outta here."

I would say they got off pretty easy. A lot of those guys got cement over shoes and were taken for a swim in the lake.
