I'm trying really hard to not get depressed over it all. Most days there seems like there's no hope for our children and grandchildren.

But here at 4um I can always find some sanity, and knowing that are at least a few sane and decent people left in the world gives me some hope.

Life still has its good moments. Had lunch with an old friend today, and later, out of the blue, Number 5 brought me a home-made apple pie.
