U.S. distillate fuel oil inventories have fallen to a 14-year low as refiners prove unable to satisfy strong demand from freight hauliers and manufacturers, sending diesel prices surging and pulling crude prices higher in their wake.

The EPA rules the roost anywhere you go.
Here in town, they closed a gas station. When they pulled the gas pumps the EPA would not allow the gas tanks to remain in the ground. Now since those tanks are considered to be Haz Mat because of the gasoline vapors, the owner of the property had to hire an outfit that brought in a special container to put the crushed fuel tanks into. That container sat there for a week before it was hauled away. ;)
