Food riots seem plausible; hungry people become desperate. And a large number of people here need little excuse to riot anyway. And rioters in general are wont to burn things, namely vehicles and structures.

But knowing Americans as I do, I seriously doubt that any government officials' homes will be specifically targeted and burned down.

I expect the Blacks to burn things to the ground when they discover that inflation cancels out there welfare checks. That is why we have to move into the countryside now.

NYC needs at least 300 food trucks every week just to keep people fed. If the store shelves go empty, the darkies will fan out looking for food.

It is like in 1968 when MLK, Jr was shot and killed in Memphis. The blacks burned down most of the west side of Chicago. Same thing in Watts out in L.A. and numerous other locations.

In Chicago, when news hit that King had been killed, they cancelled leaves for all the guards at Cook County Jail.

One black guard, since he had a good job was able to get a mortgage on a 4-flat. He lived on 2nd floor. He opened the door to go to work and there was a black guy standing on the landing below. He was ready to light a Molotov cocktail.

The black guard said, "Whatchoo think you doing?" The black guy says, "I'll show whitey. I'm gonna burn down this building."

The black guard pulled his pistol and killed him right where he was standing.

My friend asked him, "How are you going to explain that?"

The black guard said, "When they come along and pick him up, it's just another dead nigger."

The good blacks call the bad blacks niggers too. ;)
