Russians need Zelensky alive to surrender. If the Russians wanted him dead, he would have eaten a missile. The Russians have not bombed the bridges over Dneiper river because they will need them when they invde the rest of the Ukraine.

They want to make Ukraine ungovernable. They have organized terrorists to work against the Russians.
