I had an AR-15 carbine that I thought seriously about painting up like one of those super soaker squirt guns. Neat gun. I put a reverse flash hider on it so it looked like my old XM-177. Had a Redi-Mag on it, which was like a second mag well that carried a spare mag that was controlled by the mag release. That would've been cool.

My dad had a Daisy 'Buck Rogers' ray gun probably from the mid/late-30s. You'd cock the pistol grip and it would make a boy-satisfying POP! By the early 40s, he was on a troop ship on his way to the Philippines.

Me and all the other kids in the 'hood had Mattel M16s in the 70s?. Too bad they weren't HBARS, we all had the plastic barrels broke off in front of the front sight, double- quick.
