Same thing happened after South Carolina governor Randawa Haley blamed Dylan Roof's violence on the Confederate Battle Flag.

Vehicles with Confederate bumper stickers and such were vandalized (happened to two of mine), and anybody wearing a Confederate T shirt was a likely target of violent negroes.
