The clot-shots have grounded and killed a lot of pilots that were mandated. Now there's a shortage. Simple as that.

Yes. Grounded, killed, and the shots -- along with all the other idiotic policies of fedgov and the airlines -- probably caused a lot of them to quit or retire early.

Like the medical profession in the US, American pilots will gradually be replaced by Indians, Pakis, et al.

Most likely. I'm not sure what it means, but I didn't see anybody I know at the Fort Wayne Airshow this summer. Usually I'll see a few folks I know, this year, nobody.

I take it the talking head is an expert? Smart and articulate, he holds the airlines responsible for wanting to cut costs. I would almost bet 2 cents the airlines are cutting each other's throats to get and keep pilots. Supply and demand. There seems to be a problem with supply.

Both retired, hero pilot and intrepid reporter are avoiding eye contact with the 800lb gorilla sitting across from them smeared in rat feces. The motto? Smart people make the biggest fools!

Right you are, DocOc. I was a pilot until 'texting woman' took me out of the game nine years ago, this month.

I'm just some insular HoosierHick that somehow knows so many folks killed or incapacitated by the shots, the first, being my 55 y/o GF nurse, that was averse to them. We talked about that and I told her not to quit, but refuse the shots, and if she got fired, I'd cover her bills until she got back on her feet. She was too proud. (Talk about pride being one of the seven deadlies, huh)

I'd known 'Daria' for about a decade, but we just started dating before the mandate. She died on a pleasant Sunday afternoon in her backyard tending her flowers. My buddy that lives across the alley found her body the next day.

I'm not sure where I was heading with all this bullshit, but I've got five friends dead, a couple that I used to love with advanced dementia at 62 and losing it.

Good to 'see' ya, hon.
