"You're girlfriend is 30?"

"At my last girlfriend's funeral. She was a nurse and died a couple days after her second clot-shot."
"How old was your friend that died?"
"55."
"And you picked somebody else up at a woman's funeral? You're a pig."
"Maybe, but, Aleena approached me and asked if I was Jim. We chatted and I gave her my business card. She called me two months later and wanted to come see me. Wasn't my call.
She's going home to her family soon, a couple, three weeks."
"Where's that?"
"Vilnius. Lithuania. She had a logistics (moving) company take her car and her stuff a few weeks ago. She'll get on the silverbird when her shit gets close to home."
The whole deal devolved from there. Aleena had no future here with me. I was tempted to go with her, but I'm too old.
I'll miss her.
