Would have been cheaper to have built a wall 70 or 80 years ago so we would have enough water, lots of jobs paying a living wage, low rent, better schools, and lower crime.

If you look at the state, you can see who owns what, and what countries own property there. Its as if the people sold themselves out of their own country.

A wall was not necessary. Strict enforcement of immigration laws, including deportation of illegals (with confiscation of property) and federal criminal charges for trafficking, aiding and abetting, etc. -- and NO amnesties for invaders ever, and extremely limited use of asylum for "refugees" -- would have saved the US.
