The National Weather Service said that during the storm, intense waves crashed over the building and froze — creating a wall of roughly a foot of ice over the entire building.

I wondered where all the water came from. I wonder what's going to be left of the building when it melts?

From a nearby lake. Either Lake Michigan or some lake big enough for wind to blow in some water from it.

Niagara Falls froze.
