Byrna is located here in Fort Wayne. I think they started out in South Africa.

Do they have a factory outlet store?

No. I wanted to buy a few of them a little over a year ago, There was a long waiting list.

Fun Fact. Those CO2 cartridges, lose pressure over time. We’re talking that once punctured, you will be lucky to be able to use it within 24 hours. Reloading the cartridge plus reloading the pepper balls is going to get you killed in a full on gun fight, or any kind of other fight with multiple attackers. If this is for home defense, the pepper spray balls will contaminate the air YOU breathe.

Sorry folks, but this has a VERY LIMITED use and does not bridge any gap what so ever.

They're better than you'd think. The CO2 cartridge isn't punctured until the first round, and they're magazine fed. They'd be a lot of fun on Antifa/BLM punks.

In the movies they use nail guns. Looks more lethal but is definitely illegal.

Ah. Still, the reloading part is what bothers me. But… if all we are talking here is to stir up a hornet’s nest at a protest for kicks, well, that’s different.

I had the same poor experience w/CO2 cartridges years ago. Gimme the pump-charged pellet tools instead.

I was skunkin' around the byrna.com/ website. They made some neat improvements to the SD since I was looking at it a year or so ago. I think I'm going get one to play with and keep in my truck. Shit, I never buy myself anything.

I was thinking about getting a BB or pellet gun recently, might as well get a .68 cal pistol. And they're making it in pink again.

(Edit) It's on the way. $711, the fuckin' sales tax was $47.

Byrna SD Pepper Kit × 1, Pink
Byrna Max Projectiles × 1, 5 count
Byrna Pro Training Projectiles (95ct) × 1
Byrna 7-Round Magazine × 1
Byrna Boost for SD & HD Launcher - 12 gram CO2 Adaptor × 1
Byrna Oiler Kit × 1
Byrna Mag Defenders × 1, pair
Byrna 12 Gram CO2 Cartridges × 1, 10pk

I'll let y'all know how it works. My sister up around Chicago was interested in one, next time she's here, if she likes it, I'll take the boost kit off it and give it to her and get the basic launcher for me, maybe reconsidering my choice of color.

It's here already. I need to let it warm up and get the condensation off before I mess with it too much and put the boost kit on it. It's pretty cool, like a chubby pink Glock with an ambi thumb safety.

I might wait until tomorrow to shoot it. It's supposed to warm up a little, and some of my buddies might want to play.

Great service! Looking forward to your review.

Can any of your friends get a video of how it performs? (It doesn't have to be Hickock45 quality)

LOL, yeah, but Sling Blade's probably the only one savvy enough to get it from a phone to 4um. He's so busy, he's having a hard time getting the Squirt over here for her Christmas.

Byrna has all kind of videos including effects of their pepper and kinetic projectiles. www.youtube.com/@Byrn anation/videos

I sent Tommy a pic via SMS text. I don't think he was too impressed by my color choice. :P

I was filling out my warranty registration with Byrna on their website, when I hit the go button, the screen toggled over to a one time deal for $50.00 off a basic SD launcher. The bastards.

I texted my buddies to come over tomorrow to play with Pinky. We'll shake it down, then I'll take the boost kit off of it and put it on the new (DeWalt) yellow one that should be here Tuesday. I'm glad they don't make one in (Milwaukee) red.

If my sister doesn't want Pinky (she will), I'll find a home for it.

That's trash, just use a ball and cap gun. That will work. This air soft thing will get you killed.
