In NYC blacks are under pressure both from Latinos who compete with them for jobs and with Asians who compete with them for housing. Basically, they are being pushed out of their NYC neighborhoods by the Asians. Southeast Queens which used to be black is now Asian.

In Oakland they used to have a Black mayor. Then they had an Asian mayor. Now the mayor is a Jewish woman. Mexicans kill Blacks for sport in California, even in Oakland.

In San Jose the landlords are Asians. If they buy an apartment complex, they close it down for 30 says for remodeling. They kick out all the Blacks and then rent it to Asians.

If they ever repealed affirmative action and actually enforced the criminal code, Blacks would be screwed

IIRC Compton in LA used to be so blacks that "the main arteries had sickle cell", but the Mexicans drove them out.

The real problem is abilities. There are distinct differences in IQ based on race. Asians come out on the top of the IQ chart with whites behind. When Asians come to the US, in a generation their children thrive becoming scientists and engineers. They also have a strong multigenerational family support structure and they prioritize education. Over a 150 years since the Civil War, some very smart or athletic blacks are thriving, but many remain trapped in poverty and unending violence. They do not possess the abilities to do well in our civilization. When someone is smarter, better educated, and does better then you in all endeavors that leads to hatred from the "left behind".

I can personally attest to the intelligence of Asians because in 6 of my 7 years as an undergraduate, I was a math tutor for Purdue. I worked with the Vietnamese "boat people" when they first arrived and for years after. I had to learn French mathematics notations and since we had no common spoken language until they rapidly acquired English, for many we communicated well with mathematic equations. They excelled in math and upon starting college many were already proficient in multivariate calculus and differential equations which are 3rd year college classes in the US. I was very impressed, but we had a lot of cultural differences largely because many of the men could not accept being taught by a woman.

Attitude is more important than IQ. Nigerian immigrant children in the UK outperform native British children in school and are noted for being economically successful in the US.

They are not concerned with "getting a piece of the pie" like native Afro-Americans, i.e. stuff handed to them.

It isn't just Asian immigrants who excel in the US
