And as everybody knows there's a universe of difference. Russia was never the main body of the USSR, the USSR had nothing to do with Russia. Russian wasn't the USSR's official language -- its official documents were in Urdu. We didn't refer to Soviets as the Russians for those 70 years. The 1966 movie The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming wasn't about Soviet sailors reaching America, oh no. It was these RUSSIANS per se that whipped the American characters into a frenzy for some unspecified reason!

We threw away the devilvision in 1986. I watch a few old movies, but almost NO newer ones. Can't stand 'em.
